their authorship as participants and trying to close the chapter on Piero
Manzoni signing the model’s body.
I went across from the Museum to wash dishes in Le Petit Diable. After
eating, people brought their dishes from the dining room to the kitchen
and videotaped me while I washed their dishes. Afterwards each signed
my body and the room in which they ate. I also signed the room and the
signatures, with a project description, remain in the restaurant.
For Les Abatoirs, Toulouse, and Le Petit Diable Restaurant. Dishes washed
for two days, approximately six hours each day. During the length of the
exhibition, a copy of the videotape played in the restaurant.
